Baker McVeigh International travel bursaries were established to enable students around the world to gain experience and share in the expertise of our renowned veterinarians and leaders within the Equine Industry.
Choose from our seven practices, in three countries, Summerveld, Johannesburg, and Cape Town in South Africa; Newmarket, Yorkshire and Lambourn in the UK; and Chantilly in France. With a £1000 travel grant that is valid for 12 months, the award allows students to travel to any Baker McVeigh practice of their choice.

Baker McVeigh International awards two travel bursaries annually to equine veterinary students.
To qualify you must be in your last two years of study and previous time spent at a Baker McVeigh practice will be viewed positively. The successful candidates each receive a £1000 travel grant, which is valid for 12 months and can be used to travel to any Baker McVeigh practice of your choice.
