PRACTICES / Summerveld, ZA
In 1963, Dr. Brian Baker established Baker McVeigh in Summerveld, KwaZulu-Natal. A place that has now become one of the most acclaimed, full-service equine hospitals in South Africa.
Our Summerveld team comprises proficient and practiced equine vets, ensuring professionalism and precision are at the heart of all we do. At Summerveld, we cater to diverse horse breeds, from racehorses to sport horses including dressage, show-jumping, and polo.
We offer an extensive ambulatory service that forms an integral part of the emergency care we provide. In addition, the practice offers a reproductive section where our veterinarians perform specialised fertility procedures and semen collection, on request.
